William Henry "Hank" Green (born: May 5, 1980) is a minor character who appeared in the second part of 2018 VidCon Recap. He is also known to be an American entrepreneur and the co-creator of VidCon.
Early life[]
Green was born in Birmingham, Alabama,[1] and his family soon moved to Orlando, Florida, where he was raised. He graduated from Winter Park High School in 1998 and then earned a Bachelor of Science|B.S. in Biochemistry from Eckerd College and a Master of Science|M.S. in Environmental Studies from the University of Montana.[2] His master's thesis was entitled "Of Both Worlds: How the Personal Computer and the Environmental Movement Change Everything".[3]
Appearance[]
He is a tall male person with a white skin tone that has blonde hair, brown eyes and wears glasses. In the video, he has worn a black badge (which presumably represents the founder badge), a green shirt and blue jeans.
Role in video[]
His role in the video was that he said that he promised that changes will occur in the 10th annual of VidCon, to solve the problems experienced in the 9th annual of VidCon, for everyone.
Personal life[]
Green resides in Missoula, Montana with his wife, Katherine Green.[4] He was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis in 2006.[5] On a video on his personal channel, Green said, "I sort of am more at the whim of my body than I feel like a lot of people are. I have been able to design my schedule around that ..."[6] Hank identifies as an atheist.[7] Hank and Katherine had their first child—a son, Orin—in late October 2016.[8]
